PowerMaster Model 120E, or PM120E, is an inland electric container vessel, specifically designed for river and canal navigation, including the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal. It is an open-deck vessel tailored for inland waterways and locks, conforming to the standards set by the Ministry of Transport.

PowerMaster Model 120E,powered by four containerized batteries, river cruising speed is 7 knots, cruising range 187 nautical miles (347 km). This E-Barge is full electric propulsion system, suitable for inland navigation.
PM120E powered by swappable containerized battery(Powerbox), four(4) Powerbox are placed at the rear of main deck of the E-Barge, above the open deck, and connected by four DC750V fast connectors, discharged to the onboard propulsion motors and hotel loads and charged from Shore Power. The battery cell will be Lithium iron phosphate battery Cell (LFP) certified by China Classification Society (CCS), and works with the battery management system (BMS), which can communicate through 4G. The four container Powerbox are charged simultaneously through the 2 X 500A DC charging pile on the shore, and the charging time is 5.25 hours(20%-80%SOC).
PM120E adopts advanced Azimuth Contra-Rotating propeller as the main propulsors, suitable for shallow water navigation, flexible operation and good maneuvering ability, overhead permanent magnet motor, controlled by liquid-cooled converts, DC-LINK switchboard adopts double DC busbar section operation, the DC busbar A and DC busbar B are connected by isolator switch (Normal Open), the isolator switch could be closed in case one side of DC busbar lost power.
The Powerbox could be leased to the owner and the battery cell manufactory could provide 10-year warranty. PM120E is a zero-carbon emission and zero-carbon oxide emission barge, compared with 120TEU fuel container ship, reducing carbon emissions by 250 tons per year.
